Bath VA Medical Center
Parking areas are designated for visitors, employees, volunteers, outpatients and the handicapped. Please obey the posted signs and ground painted symbols. Inpatients are requested to keep their cars at home. Domiciliary patients need clearance through their treatment team to have a vehicle on station. The speed limit on the Medical Center grounds is 20 mph. The VA police enforce all regulations and will issue warnings and tickets to drivers who violate the rules.
Hoptel Hospitality Suite
The VeterInn is located on the fourth floor of the hospital. It is available for overnight lodging for Veterans and families on a first-come first-serve basis. The Veter Inn was developed to provide accommodations for Veterans who travel a long distance and don't have transportation readily available. Veterans who are awaiting transportation to another facility or their return home also find it very helpful. Family members of hospitalized Vveterans use it to be nearby during times of serious illness or for a visit when patients have prolonged periods of absence. Questions regarding use of the Veter Inn may be answered by calling 607-664- 4000 extension 42579.
Interpreter service is available for loved ones of Veterans who need assistance in understanding English.Â Any employee can assist.
Greeters - Volunteer and staff greeters (identified by their maroon vest) are located in the hospital lobby Monday through Friday. They will be happy to assist you with directions and getting answers to many of the questions you may have. Maps are available upon request.
