During National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, Bath VA Medical Center will be showing works of art created by local Veterans. The show will include visual art, creative writing, dance, drama and music.

The Veteran-created art will be on display Feb. 15 and Feb. 16 at Bath VA Medical Center. Other local artists will judge the entries and the best works will be entered in the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival. In past years, submissions from Bath area Veterans have won first place in the national competition. Performance art will be featured at a talent show on February 16 at 2:00 p.m. The public is invited at no cost.

Artists, performers and craft makers can enter the show and competition by contacting the Beth Gardner-Cuer at (607) 664-4470 or Dixie O’Dell at (607) 664-4457. The deadline for judged entries is Tues. Feb. 14

Participants must be Veterans registered with the Bath VA Medical Center or one of its clinics. To enroll in VA Health Care call 1-888-823-9656.
