What is the VeterInn?
The VeterInn has been established to provide short-term lodging for veterans or their family members. A limited number of rooms are availible on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Veteran patients awaiting transportation to another facility or their return home may use the VeterInn. Family members of hospitalized veterans may also use the VeterInn so they may be nearby during their loved one's period of severe illness, or for a visit after prolonged periods of absence.
Cost
The VeterInn is a service provided with no charge.
Donations from service organizations and guests are utilized to maintain the unit.

Where Is It?
The VeterInn is located on the 4th floor of the hospital, Building 76. All guests must check in at the hospital Admission Desk to inquire about lodging. Questions regarding the VeterInn may be answered at (607) 664-4000 x42579.
Accommodations
The goal of the VeterInn is to offer our veterans and guests a convenient, clean, comfortable and secure place to stay. A total of five rooms are available—three single rooms, and two double rooms, with shared bathing facilities.
A common lounge with limited kitchen facilities is provided for dining and leisure activity. A television and pay phones are also available within the unit.
Meals
Veterans will be provided free meals during their stay. A tray service is delivered to the unit at meal times. Guests may utilize the hospital Canteen Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Several nearby restaurants also offer delivery service. Menus are available in the guest directory.
Medications
Veterans will be responsible for any medication needed while in the Inn.
Smoke-Free
For your health and safety, smoking is not permitted within the VeterInn. A smoking shelter is located outside the Ambulance Entrance on the hospital 1st floor.
